The General Federation of Iraqi Workers called for the abolition of the infamous Decree No. 150 issued by the defunct regime of Saddam Hussein in 1987.
The president of the GFIW in Basra brother Hussein Fadel said “Decree No 150 robed workers the right to free and independent representation.
He called on the Iraqi authority to implement Article 22 of the Iraqi constitution that allows Iraqi civil society organizations to organize freely and independently.
