Iraqi forces thwart attack by terrorists’ against Iraqi journalists union in Diyala

Iraqi intelligence source revealed on 1 August 2012 that it exposed a plan by al Qaeda to carry out assassination of journalists and media people in Diyala province.

The source added al-Qaeda intention was to storm and attack the head office of the Journalists union in of Diyala.
